All of the music in my interdisciplinary work The Wound is a Portal was created by Omar Jarra, an amazing artist, musician, actor and friend.

One of my favourite pieces of music for this film was a collaborative one. We made an eerie, beautiful song using my tattoo machine. First, Jelani Serette recorded the sound of me tattooing Alicia Viarruel, one of the participants in this work. He recorded the sound of the machine, the sound of her body and my body vibrating against it and Omar digitally manipulated it to create the music.
